I've noticed that when I go out to a club or a bar or even a social event/gathering where there are a lot of people I am always looking around the room. I did it today at a house party and the friend I was talking to asked me, "why do you keep looking around like that? Are you okay?". I'm scanning the room looking for potential girls to open later, or for people I know, but I realized that I probably look like an idiot or just socially anxious. It's become so much of a habit that I do it even if I'm in a room with all guys or sitting in class. Anyone used to do this and stopped somehow? What is the source of the problem and the solution?

Another thing I do is I constantly move around trying to get into better positions to scout new prospects at the venue. If I open and it doesn't go well I'll immediately leave that area and move to another. Since I'm opening at least 10 girls at each venue I'm always moving around. I've realized people at the venue probably pick up on this and my venue SMV takes a hit.

When you guys go to a bar/club, how many approaches do you do before a venue change? Do you focus on having a good time with your friends with getting laid as a byproduct or do you solely go out to get laid? Do you pick a spot at the venue and stay planted (approaching girls who walk into your space) or do you move around and approach?

I personally solely go out to get laid and talk to women. I don't drink too heavy either. I have good success but just need tips to eliminate this unattractive behavior and refine my game.
