I've only ever had 1 or 2 8's come up to me in my life, but I do have 6's come up to me fairly regularly to get numbers or whatever. I've heard they try to bang 2 points up, so can I safely say I'm an 8. I'm not looking for validation, i just want to know if this is a decent method for evaluation.

I know the types of girls you approach and close on is a better approximation, but I just wanted to see if this other method also works. More like a thought experiment.
