The concept of "hypocrisy" very rarely has a place in relationship discussions, because men and women are different. They do different things for different reasons, which is why one doing one thing is appropriate but the other doing the same thing is inappropriate.

If you have a problem with your girl going out dressed like a slut, you damn well tell her that and that it's unacceptable. Don't start whining about hypocrisy.

Laughing at her is also really childish. You're not the child in this situation. Or, rather, you should not be. She might be, but she is a woman and she can hardly help that. You can. She was not in the right, not by a long shot, but you need to learn to handle relationship issues better than this. Yeah, what a shit show for sure. You've lost your grip on that girl.

OP, I am in a dilemma. On the one hand, we have Saint Rollo of Tomassi telling us that beta males mate guard, and alpha males disregard. On the other hand we have (cue sound of angels singing) Dread. Game. Most of the comments here are implying that OP is whiny and butthurt. May be.

We all know what GNOs mean: girls dress up (sluttier) and get drunk for strange men, more so than for their SO that they profess to love. We also know that the women lie their asses off about why they like GNOs, and their attendant attention whoring. (I have commented before on the fact that although women SAY they dress for other women, they don't dress that way when they're going to a girlfriends house - only when they go to a club, where, of course, there are men, thirsty, horny men, and alcohol. They're really signalling their competition, the other women.) St. Rollo tells us that the only, and I mean ONLY way to influence your SO is through Dread. Game. That's why we have the aphorism, "Beta males mate guard, alpha males disregard." What is the essence of Dread? To DEMONSTRATE that the man has options (and if he is doing it right and continuously improving himself - increasing options) meaning that the woman needs to step up her game, AND that since he is desirable by other women that she (his SO) made an excellent choice in choosing him. It is both carrot and stick.

Now it may be true that OP showed insecurity at least to us here in redditville, but the proof is in the pudding. What is the result of his overt and clumsily executed Dread. Game? Gf freaks out, probably won't go and now SHE is the one mate guarding.

OP, when you hold a mirror up to a woman's behavior, you have to be a little more subtle about it.

Folks, After re-reading the post, I think that OP held his frame, instituted Dread. Game., as well as achieved a desirable end result, i.e., GF now very concerned about consequences of GNOs. He didn't do a masterful job of it, it was not subtle, didn't utilize her hamster to do his work for him, and therefore got into a fight. Nonetheless, she'll think 2 or 3 times before she goes out attention whoring with her friends.

I will appreciated any and all comments on my analysis.

She should go out with her friends. She should not dress like a slut in public. truth is that women dress a certain way for other women. Guys typically don't give a shit what we are wearing as much as other women. When I go out, I get compliments from women way more than guys. BUT... if your girl is hot, she'll be getting male attention even if she's wearing no make up and a potato sack. So, you shouldn't project your insecurities onto her. Once she gets wind of that, she'll have the upper hand. If she wants to fuck around on you, she will regardless of being drunk, dressed slutty, or at a club. You don't trust her, whether it's because of your personal inability to trust or her having betrayed your trust in the past. You should not be with her, if she broke your trust, or you should not be in a relationship period if you can't trust women in general. You need to tell your girl "go ahead have fun. Call me if you need a ride home. Btw you look smokin' and I can't wait to peel that hot little number off and rub your sore feet when you come home". If you respond that way, she'd be happy and definitely not be looking for what she isn't getting from you elsewhere. If you degrade her the way you did, she'll be out looking for validation and she's gonna get it.

You don't really need to say anything, simply dress up and tell her you will be back later. If you really do want to go out. Let her freak out, over think shit, blah blah, the more you talk the less your words mean. Also, when you do come back if you do go, do not explain or talk about what all happened good or bad. Just say, "it was fun" and ignore her from then no matter what.

I don't agree he sounded whiny, he just threw the same thing back at her and of course she became defensive. Either way I would recommend perhaps not putting all your eggs in this basket.
