Who do women seem to often cut their hair off when they break up from LTR?

I see this often in female pattern of behavior, when they break up from a long term relationship that often women will cut off their long flowing hair and go for more short, feminism hairstyle.

What is the reason this pattern seem to be so prevalent among female behavior after coming out of a LTR?
