Background: I grew up in a very conservative environment and didn't like it, so I moved to a more liberal city in my mid-twenties, and ended up not liking it for totally different reasons.

Often, I have found that people tend to be indoctrinated in some way. Not only does this cause them to be deluded, but it also leaves them susceptible to exploitation by people with a more realist (and therefore broad) worldview. The classic example is the kid who was brainwashed by conservative Christianity as a child. His parents never let him watch depictions of sex, violence, or competing metaphysical ideologies. In college, he gets pwned, socially and in academic debate, both because he has been kept naive, and because he has never faced contention.

This could just as easily happen to the child of liberal parents. The indoctrinated liberal goes out into the world and happily donates money to the inner city youth basketball team, naively not realizing this is probably a ghetto scam. He trusts the police to respect his rights, politicians not to be liars, etc...

What is even more pathetic and frustrating is seeing ADULTS do this to THEMSELVES, via a weird combination of denial and self-indoctrination. Basically, most people tend to surround themselves with stimuli that supports their bias, rather than step outside of their intellectual 'comfort zone', by challenging their preconceived notions. For example, this could apply to climate change: "Reducing greenhouse gas emissions would require policies we don't like, therefore anthropogenic greenhouse gasses don't have any effect on the climate."

Or it could apply to self-seclusion from "offensive" media. "I don't watch that show because sex/violence offends me", "I don't read articles from that magazine because I believe it is a biased source," or even "I'm not a Neo-Nazi, so why would I ever read Mein Kampf?"

How does this relate to women and male/female relationships?

What you have to realize is that most women enjoy a certain amount of social privilege created by their in-groups, through sex appeal. You see this in female communities all the time. "This is a safe space," "I only surround myself with supportive people," "We don't judge eachother here," etc...

What this all basically means is that the person or group in question is intolerant of critical thought. Unfortunately, like all social privilege, this does not help them to become stronger, but only makes them more dependent and less down-to-Earth, a disposition that is enabled by nice guy blue pill types, who indulge women in their delusions by not correcting them, and in some cases materially supporting such absurd castles in the sky. Remember, the prefix 'hypo' means 'not enough', as in 'hypothermia' means 'not enough heat, too cold'. So hypocritical means lacking in critical thought.

Too often, liberal and feminist communities tend to want to 'silence the critics', rather than recognize their value. If you were a musician and you recorded something that sounded bad, wouldn't you want to be told that it was off, BEFORE it got released to a public audience, if only to avoid public embarrassment? And yet most liberal communities tend to foster 'Emperor Wears No Clothes'-type situations, where there are these elephants in the room no one wants to address. This is mostly due to the abuse of social power over their communities.

What's really sad is that, in order to truly open one's mind, one must consider other people's points of view. What would it be like to be the opposite gender? What would it be like to be a different race/religion/culture? What would it be like to be a different socio-economic class? Most people are terrible at stepping outside their own perspective in order to develop a more multi-faceted worldview, and women are no exception.

Where we find this most often in the female world is in criticism of feminism. Most feminists flat-out refuse to read it! This is classic, bad argument hippie "Says 'You should be more open-minded', Means 'You should think what I think.'" These women are NOT open-minded. The rationale they use to avoid contentious stimulus is simply: "I'm not going to invest my attention into anything that might offend me."

Or,

"If I consider other viewpoints, I might find logical flaws in my own. I don't want to admit my views are logically flawed, therefore, I do not consider other viewpoints."

Finally, with regards to the cock carousel:

"If I realize that my lifestyle is exploitative and socially irresponsible, I might feel bad about myself. I don't want to stop enjoying an excessive lifestyle at the expense of others, therefore, I will avoid stimuli that might make me question myself."

This is often done ostensibly in the name of 'confidence building' or 'combating depression/anxiety'. But there is nothing even remotely mentally healthy about it.

This also starts getting into "false consensus" or "my-side bias" when women seek strength in numbers in order to prop up a faulty conclusion. "Everyone knows women are under-privileged relative to men." When in reality, this subjective opinion only applies to the like-minded women with whom they have exclusively surrounded themselves.

The solution: tactfully but firmly hold frame. Stop letting women indulge in this kind of irrationality, for both your sake and theirs.
