I don't have any scientific data or examples, but I think this information is relevant and helpful.
This may have already been posted too but I'm going to try to keep it short and to the point.
So you don't like going out. You hate crowds, you hate talking to people, making stupid small talk.
You keep telling yourself that. You tell yourself, "I hate going out," "I suck at talking to girls," "I am autistic I can't communicate normally."
This leads your subconscious to look for patterns to reinforce that behavior.
Not even just that, but it will effect you before you even attempt to go out, talk to people, have fun.
You will already be in a bad mood before you even enter the bar, club, wherever, because you have told yourself multiple times that you hate the situation you are going into. You're going to be salty.
Start telling yourself you love being social, you love meeting new people, etc. And your attitude might change.
Obviously you aren't going to change immediately and you might still get tired and drained while being social but you will start to hate it less and even somewhat enjoy it.
