This is probably something most of you will think is obvious now that it's been pointed out to you, and I about facepalmed when I realized this tonight.

I've really been hammering Tinder lately and I've noticed I'm getting a ton more matches (3-4x) than I did in the summer. My main profile picture is a selfie at the gym with my shirt off that doesn't even show my face. My other pics are of me and a couple exes.

I believe the reason why I'm getting more action now is because the weather has changed and women aren't seeing a lot of guys half-naked like they were just a few months back. People are dressing warmer and it makes sense that if they're going to post up recent pictures then they'd be bundled up. My going against the grain in this respect is in effect accidental peacocking on my part, not because I'm super fit but because I'm now standing out from the rest of the guys they're browsing.

I suspect the same holds true in the summer, that if you post pictures of you skiing or snowboarding or something else in the snow you'll equally stand apart from the crowd. Give it a shot and change things up and see for yourself if my theory holds true. The proof is in the pudding, a 3-4x match with about the same amount of mass swiping right on my part.
