Late 20's in a new city, across the country. How do you approach this, in terms of meeting women?

You need to establish a social circle and then keep jumping from one social circle to the next until you find one that you're adequately comfortable with. Whenever I have to travel around for work and find myself in a metropolitan area I hit up "social events". Wherever you are there are social events, people meeting and talking, usually they're posted online and you can just showup and mingle. Use meetup.com to find random events to go to, going to events will give you access to more events and then more events.

Reading your post history makes me think you have a comfortable stable job with good prospects but shitty hours. So you're going to fall into the type "Does not have a ton of time, can't afford to drag things out". You want to speed date, get a few conversations going with females that you run into during the regular day, starbucks, near work, as you're getting gass, while you're at the supermarket etc. Throw a few lines down if you don't feel like they're biting bail. The goal when you're in the position you are is frequency you just need to approach as many women as you can and gauge their interest level, if you get the feeling like its going to be a lot of work just bail. Eventually you'll fall into your rhythm and be back to spinning like you usual were.

Because you're new to your area you can use that to your advantage. For example I assume your job gives you some sort of lunch break, if so use that time and go out and use your day game. It doesn't have to be aggressive just high frequency talk to everyone build some sort of relationship with the people you'd likely run into just "being" at work. The more people know of you the more likely you'll run into the type of girls you like. Anyways I don't know if any of this is useful but most importantly you want to avoid falling into a bad rhythm once you get into that reclusive mode its hard to snap out of it.
