Alright, I just need to say, I don't think you know what you're talking about. This is absolutely not what happens most of the time. The BDSM scene is all about boundaries and enthusiastic consent. It has a lot more in common with feminism than with TRP. Usually people ease into things while they're getting to know new partners. The really rough stuff tends to come after the pair has built up a rapport and understanding of each others' limits.

I think men and women don't respond to hardships the same way necessarily. Here are some examples: 1)Women from the 50s were glorified and very feminine and generally very pleasant women. I think that is because these women had to endure what it was like without men (world war II) and became more appreciative of them. My country was under German occupation at one point and there was a lot of poverty, especially in the big cities, yet women of that generation were considered very pleasant and feminine. 2)Women from Eastern Europe are considered more feminine. Women from Eastern Europe had to endure some hardships, poverty etc.

Hardships and lack of resources force gender role conformance as women seek protection and resources from men. They have to become more feminine to become more desirable and attract worthy men. Additionally, a lot of eligible bachelors were traumatically removed from the marriage pool so women had to compete far harder.

Eastern Europe from what I know is more conservative and more traditional, so they probably promote traditional gender role conformance.

That…that’s not really how it works and has nothing to do directly with femininity outside of obedience and submission. Also it generally gets more rough, not less, as time passes.

I think feminism is mostly a result of a sheltered, western life. Women being through hardships can actually become more appreciative of men. One might bring the example of female CEOs and say they're "hardened", but the thing is these women were likely more masculine-minded in the first place which is why they picked these kind of jobs. (not that I personally mind female CEOs or think they can't be feminine)

I do think feminism is often #FirstWorldProblem whining. I don’t think forcing women to undergo hardships (if that’s what you are implying) is a good idea though, both for practical and moral reasons. It’s a mean thing to do and it will result in a lot of bitter women.

P.S. On a personal note please take a break from gender wars stuff /u/[deleted] and go outside. Hating yourself won’t help with anything at all. ❤️
