Nope. Gay men are among the highest suicide rates. Even if you believe they are happier because they 'don't have to deal with women' it clearly isn't by enough to make the loneliness and social stigma worth it.

Men expect men to uphold traditional masculinity more than women do. There's a ton of in group policing if men act out of line with their traditional gender role.

I think it would be more so because other men aren't expecting such strict adherence to those norms.
