From this article and the link supplied in drok007's post, the only advantage is more sex or children. If your sex life is OK, I don't see an issue. Perhaps a class in money management etc might be more advantageous. If these decisions are mundane, toss a coin. I do doubt you have given your lady a damn thing however. You don't give equality or independence.

And I'm sure laws are passed a lot more quickly in a dictatorship... see where I'm going here? Having one person call the shots might increase order, but does it make things more pleasant? Also a stable relationship isn't the same as a good relationship.
