Traveling abroad and going to a bar solo for the first time ever. Any tips/advice on how to approach?

Be friendly, chat up the bartender if it’s quiet or chat with some other guys(if they are cool) and do small talk. Establish in the bar you are normal. Talk about how you are a foreigner and don’t know anything of the area. If there are female friends of the guys, be cordial and pleasantly ask what to do. It’s pretty easy being abroad, when I lived in the Philippines, Japan, Egypt and Jordan people always wanted to ask about America and my life story. Just don’t be a drunk cockbag. Once you make friends, it’s easy to meet and fuck girls. Depending on the country you are in, it’s pretty easy to get laid. Where are you going?
