Leo is the bad boy, Matt is the safety net. She can fuck Leo 30 times a week but hes not so great on paper. She can see a life of convenience with Matt so he gets the cow while she likely considers she can cheat on him again.

I wondered about that too. Can’t remember specifics but I think the lack of closure bothered me. Like Wahlberg and his girl in Broken City and the soldier and Italian woman in Miracle at St. Anna. All this build up between a man and woman in the movie, then something big happens.... aaaand she’s gone and the story line just vanishes.
