Yesterday my LTR asks if she can come over after work.

2 hours after work I get a text telling me that her power is out, and that she has to stay there because her roommate is scared. She asks if I want to come over to which I reply that I don't feel like driving, (30 min drive) and that I thought she was coming to my place.

She texts back "let's just meet tomorrow".

20 minutes later I have to check my email, so I turn the phone back on and I see 2 missed texts, a missed call and a missed video call. Usually I reply or call her back when I can but I wasn't having any of this crap today so I ignore it and turn my phone back off.

An hour later she shows up at my place.

She's visibly upset and tells me that she's called me 12 times.

I tell her my phone was dead.

We talk for a little bit and she says "you sure you weren't ignoring me?"

I reply "yea"

She says that she can tell I'm lying.

I reply "actually, yes, I turned my phone off. I'm tired and don't feel like dealing with anything."

It's like 1am at this point and she has to work the next day.

I fuck her good and afterwards I playfully say something like "you drove all this way at 1am just for my cock, huh?"

She says that she was scared that I ghosted her, and that she can see me just blocking and deleting people out of my life, she knows I'm capable of doing this.

After sex I'm kind of distant, just exhausted from the day. She sits down next to me and gives me these passionate kisses on my cheek. We get into bed and she cuddled next to me.

Did I handle this correctly? She was saying shit like "what if I got into a car accident when your phone was off?"

Is this a form of dread? I just didn't feel like dealing with anything. Lol
