As the title says, my LTR (of 1 month)'s mother is in the ICU, things are serious.
I've bailed on the gym today to go to the hospital to be there for her. My intention is to train tomorrow but if the worst happens: a) I'd like to train to keep my head straight, b) I'd feel like leaving for a few hours is the opposite of being a rock at that moment.
Selfishly (and full disclosure), I do take a lot of pride in my training and I'm set to hit some nice numbers. I was excited to train.
Question 1) What would you do?
Question 2) What would you do for the rest of the week, two weeks? Or longer... I haven't lost a parent and I'm a very stoic person, she is not, so I do not know what to expect.
Thanks
