After a few messages for small conversation, I said, "let's grab a drink at ___ this wednesday or thursday at 8". She said she's busy this week but will get back to me the week after with valid reasons. However, I know to judge by actions rather than words so I don't expect anything else. The thing is, I don't want to continue making small talk from here. Is that normal? I want to wait for next week and it's up to her to hit me up if she wants to. Or am I supposed to continue small conversation...? Don't think so, right? The beta in me is thinking it's rude to not reply to the 4 messages leftover. Cheers.
