I (18M) am thinking about joining a basic military program which lasts 3 months and used to be mandatory in a past but know it is optional and if you decide to attend it you dont have to go to army and you can continue to live your life like you used to before it, but in a case of war you will be the first one they call.

From what heard, only the guys from smaller towns, villages join it (I live in a capital) and there are not a lot of “urban” guys from big cities like I’m.

The reason why I would like to join is because I’m fucking sick of people around me thinking I’m a pussy and not taking me seriously, I want to “harden” myself. I want to change the way people look at me. Even my family laughed when I said I’m thinking about joining military.

So the reason why I wrote this post is to see if any of you guys went to military and maybe hear some advice about it. Thanks.
