Returning to university at the ripe old age of 30.

I'm a fit amateur boxer, been through ups and downs. That has made me the person that I am today - but the fact that I'm so much older than these 18-23 yr olds and doing the same thing makes me feel lower in value.

Financially I have more than the usual student but not a whole lot since I'm only working part time and wasn't exactly motivated financially until a year ago. I'm killing it at the university so far but that feels natural to me since I am much more experienced than the usual student - so that doesn't make me feel special or anything.

My question is - am I automatically lower valued because of my age and yet doing the same things as the younger generation?
