Talked with a girl for a while then finally made the move to ask her out on a date for friday. She said she should be free after 3:30 and I said Im free at 5:30 so lets meet then. She texts me about 45 min later saying "I forgot i have something for my dance organization from 6pm to 8pm [cry face])
I responded "No worries. the restaurant doesnt close til later and im down to go after."
She didnt respond.

Was this her way of rejecting me or did i make the right move?
If she doesnt respond should I still do the same day follow up text?
