Title says it all. Graduated uni, 2 years back, as a beta buck. Spent the following 2 years focusing on my self, my career, and my game. Started hitting my stride with a few plates, a threesome, and overall DGAF attitude.

Flash forward to today, and I’m 1 month into my new job in a new city. This job is much more analytical (finance/consulting) and I only have a few friends in the area. First few weeks were great as I found my new apartment, went through training, and went out with some coworkers (laid one of their roommates). Now that I feel more settled I find myself falling back into old habits and mindsets (negative self talk, shyness, awkward socially) even though I’m bigger, stronger, and more successful than I’ve ever been. Still haven’t really made any close friends (haven’t bonded with coworkers enough) and feel pretty down.

Any advice on avoiding the relapse to BP hell? How did you adapt to such a drastic change of environment?
