I've been lurking around TRP for a while now. I've been considering myself psychologically and physically Alpha, but last night I had my naive eyes reopened.

I'm just getting out of a LTR. I thought she was the exception, but I ended up losing frame and just found out that two weeks ago she cheated on me. Turns out that AWALT. I find it funny because she's always been very vehement about not being like \"other girls,\" and the face she's been putting on holds true to being different, but after a year of this relationship she couldn't hide it anymore. I totally had oneitis. I lost frame as her AF, our sex life slowed down -> she decided to ride the CC. I've known that she has some issues with needing external validation, but until now I hadn't connected two and two and figured out that it would eventually lead to her wanting validation besides me.

When I confronted her after finding out, I fed her some RP material - telling here that AWALT, that I can get my own validation internally. I find it funny that already she's trying to get back in my good graces. I guess if she works herself up to throwing herself at me I'll accept the pussy but hell if I'm giving her any more attention and effort than the checkout lady at the convenience store.

I guess I'm about to lawyer up/hit the gym/throw myself even more into my hobbies, and for once actually exploit them to meet people and build SMV. I lack top-notch SMV right now because I spend more time doing things I enjoy than building friend groups.

I'm a tall white male, I've been told I'm objectively quite physically attractive. Getting an Ivy League degree, going to be working for one of the most desired companies to work at in my field. I'm going to be alright. Nothing is holding me back but myself.

Thanks to the experienced posters for all the good theory around here. The pill is a massive horse pill, and I'm finding out that one glass of water is not enough to swallow the whole thing, but I'm getting there.
