I have never considered myself RP by any means. Most, if not all, differences in males or females, in my mind, are not biological but either perceived or the result of socialization. I have this idea that RP is just a religion, being a systematic interaction with the world, and as it is a religion, its adherents attribute their success to it -- even if that's not the truth.
I know that were I to ask that subreddit, they would be assured of TRP's reality, but I'm more interested to hear from people who decided to stop following that path. Usually, in other threads, I hear that TRP is hateful, sexist, misogynistic, negative, myopic, etc ... But does it work? I'm asking this question on the axiom, "If it's stupid, but it works, then it isn't stupid." I'm not saying that TRP works, per se, but I wouldn't know. You all, who have been there, would know.
Apart of its latent misogyny and negative social outlook, did you ever find that TRP actually worked? Did it boost your success with women (assuming you are male)? If not, what made you come to the realization to stop attributing your successes to the precepts of TRP?
