I’m struggling bad with some of the choices I’ve made in my life. When I was younger I had a problem with heroin and fortunately found Christ when I was 26. When I got clean I realized I was basically a high school drop out with no education. All I knew how to do was sell drugs. So Eventually I went into construction because I had felonies on my record. Few years later I got my contractors license. Im grateful I have a job and I’m not living under a bridge shooting dope anymore but damn I’m unhappy with my career. Wish I would have gone to school and knocked off the drugs sooner. Im 31 and single. I want to do something that challenges my mind not my body. I’ve discovered that God have me a brain. I’m most happy when I’m solving complex problems or analyzing data. On weekends I stay in and learn accounting and finance and economics. I don’t know why I just love numbers and data. I don’t know what to do with my career path. Im unhappy but I’m at a place where I don’t know If it’s logical to go to school for engineering or something. I feel like I’ve wasted too much time.
