Here's the gig. I'm still working on my design major, but I have about two years left. I want to move out, I want my own crib, I want to be financially indepedent more than anything else. I currently work 22-23 hours a week in sales, and make about $400 every 2 weeks from that. I also DoorDash for extra cash on the side. The problem is it's extremely hard to find a STABLE design job with an agency/company without a Bachelors. Internships are an option but those are time limited and I'm worried about being on a lease and becoming unemployed.
Whats the best course of action? I will still need time in the week to do schoolwork/lift/keep my sanity. How do I find a financial solution that's sustainable and reasonable in the meantime? I live around metro-Atlanta so a solo crib could be anywhere from $1000-1500 a month, even more the closer you get to the city. Freelance work is an option as well but it's inconsisent and not dependable based on my limited design experience.
My last option is a small beach house my dad owns in Florida in a small community of condos. I could move there and work for the HOA and live the rest of my days cleaning pools. Not a bad deal either.
