I dated a girl a year ago. She was my first relationship. Madly in love with me, even asked me out and everything. She essentially love-bombed me, telling me shit like how she was gonna marry me and stuff.

About three months, she broke up with me and started dating an taller, older, and more conventually attractive guy. Like literally, this shit is funny because of how absurd the whole situation is. He's literally Mr. fucking perfect. Tall, nice, popular, smart, charismatic. He's even going to a fucking ivy. Literally all my friends could talk about was how hot he was and how he was essentially a model.

Anyways, for about 6 months, I was fucking devasted. Grades dropped, started doing fucking insane/cringy shit (nothing to her). fucked up my chance of getting into a top school (was a perfect korean student at the top of my class).

Anyways, the year after, I pretty much stopped seeing her and everything was better. However, recentely, I looked at her insta by accident and I saw that they were still together and they were posting lovey-dovey shit in the comments and it just made me depressed again.

How do I get over this shit? I hate it. I know its not love. I know its just ego and lust but I can't get over it. I can't stand that she lied so much to me during the end of our relationship. I hate that I did so much cringy shit.
