You're DEERing. Who you see is none of her business except for the brief times when you're with her. Unless you have given her your promise to remain exclusive you are, by definition, not exclusive.

How I would handle this: withdraw attention and definitely stop trying to explain everything. If the plate breaks then it breaks. (And if your not fucking her, she's not a plate to begin with.)

Women have the right to expect exclusivity. They don't have the right to get it. That is entirely up to you to provide if you so choose.

And never try to explain your actions by giving her license to perform hers Like, for example "You're welcome to talk to that guy again." Women do not want equality. They think they want superiority and special treatment. What they really want is a Dominant male to be in charge. So be one. Don't give her permission to see another guy, stop caring if she does or not because you're not exclusive with her.

The only way she can "guilt trip" you is if you honestly feel that you've done something to be guilty about. Even tho you haven't and you might think you haven't, telling her “You’re welcome to talk to that guy again” comes across that you do.

But yea the best way to counter this is you let her know from the jump that you're seeing other girls. Don't bang it into her head but just slip in that you keep your options open.

Don't let girls guilt trip you about it. Commitment fucking sucks for guys and you should avoid it if you can. It's basically paying for sexual services.

Some girls are cool with it. Some aren't. Let her go if she's not cool. One way to tell her this is "Sure, this lifestyle is not for everyone".

More than half are cool with it though
