Today I became the sole moderator for r/meninist, after that subreddit had been abandoned by the previous moderator(s) for months. As you may already know, that has been a toxic subreddit that allowed incitement to violence and hate speech under the excuse that anything not obviously spam wouldn't be moderated.

So far I've deleted several posts and comments that had been reported while the previous moderator(s) were inactive. Then I edited the "about community" description and title. The latter change doesn't seem to have taken. I made a similar post at r/againstmensrights to ask what they think should be done. They let the post through, though so far all comments have been deleted or shadow banned, so the only input I've gotten has been from PMs.

Then I remembered r/MensLib, which has really improved by leaps and bounds since the last time I looked at it. Unfortunately, I can't post there for whatever reason.

So I looked at "subs of interest" in their sidebar, and decided to post here instead.

I would appreciate suggestions about what to do with that forum. Also, if you would like to be added as a moderator there, please let me know.
