It doesn't matter. Most people date and marry within their socioeconomic class. It doesn't change women's nature. I know a woman who makes 600k a year whose divorce dragged out because of her pressing for more favorable terms of alimony. Her and her ex husband being high earners didn't save him from getting squeezed for money. She didn't need the money but went after it anyway.

Dating your own finanacial bracket doesn't remove the possibility of using you for status or money. AWALT. You need to kill the Bluepill mindset and stop thinking she "loves" for who you are rather than what you have to offer.
Just because you find a woman who will date you for having the same income, does not mean she chose you because she "loves" who you are as a person. She probably just values something else you have to offer rather than money. Maybe you are way more attractive than what she can usually get, maybe you have a big dick, maybe other men in her circle are all pussies and compared to those dudes you're like Keanu Reeves. Point is, who fucking cares it doesn't really matter.

If you focus too hard about the reasons why she chose you to begin with, you're gonna start basing your entire self-worth on the qualities she chose you for, and that's another form of oneitis. And when those qualities fade or dip for whatever reasons, your entire frame is shattered.

It's better to just think "she's not yours, it's only your turn".

When I am about to get married or have children I hope my income allows my wife or so to not have a job as it would then be her job to take care of the children in general and take them to practices

And if she’s same financial bracket just makes her less dependent, so branch swinging might be more probable, but maybe not

I read this as "Is there a way for me to 'woman' proof my marriage?" and the answer is no. Putting a ring on her finger will not end the game. The game never ends. If anything you need more game to keep her invested after you get married and the doldrums set in.

I'm old school in the sense that you should marry a woman who gets your dick hard, fucks you, is feminine, shows maternal qualities and is young enough to give you lots of kids. Nowhere in that list is occupation or earning power. YYMV.

You don't need to date within your economic bracket. My LTR is pretty rich--my parents are broke. It doesn't matter. Considering her money at all is stupid. I live without that in my worldview altogether.
