I was going to make this post on r/chess regarding the younger sister of a popular female chess streamer because I watch a lot of chess on twitch and I cringe so badly when male viewers give compliments in twitch chat like "you're cute/hot/beautiful" to a girl who is below the age of 18. (from what I gather, she's 16, but could easily pass as an adult)

Youtube recently passed a rule that forbids comments on videos that portray or sexualize minors: https://mashable.com/article/youtube-disables-comments-on-videos-featuring-minors/#:~:text=Like%20Follow-,YouTube%20will%20now%20disable%20comments%20on%20all%20videos%20featuring%20children,on%20all%20videos%20featuring%20minors.&text=YouTube%20has%20announced%20a%20few,children's%20safety%20on%20the%20platform

One of the most cringe-inducing moments I have ever encountered was a 16-year-old Korean/Chinese female teen in the "Just Chatting" section of twitch.tv who was fawning for male attention and someone gave a $5 donation and asked her if she can make both her elbows touch her belly button (which tricks a female into squeezing her cleavage together and makes her boobs appear larger).

What can we do to try and fix this? It would be rather extreme to ban chatting in twitch streams with underage female streamers but that's what youtube did to fix the problem.

Also, how many female underage viewers are just building up a large twitch audience but then plan to make an OnlyFans account the minute they turn 18 and capitalize on their army of simps they amassed on a different platform such as twitch?

Am I the only one creeped out by this possibility? What do you think?

Thank you for reading.
