In the video, it makes fun of the idea that a person wears a face mask when there is no reason to do so (when he is alone in his car there is no benefit to wearing a face mask unless there are other people in the car). This is called “virtue signaling” and Wikipedia actually does a fairly decent job at explaining it:

Disclaimer: in the other thread I was acting like coronavirus wasn’t serious or deadly. Please do not get your medical advice from reddit and 99% of medical doctors legitimately promote mask-wearing and social distancing to prevent the spread of coronavirus. I have not yet made a determination as to how deadly that coronavirus is but when I do, I will make another post here.
