I am 51, and I keep getting certifications and licenses in areas of interest. Young men - you want to be successful... here is the magic formula... life is 99% luck and 1% preparation and perspiration... if you dive into that 1% of preparation and perspiration, then when the 99% shows up with an opportunity, you’ll be ready.

If you have made bad decisions that have you in a rut or with no future before you, or at least it feels that way... then today is the day to get started. As an example, I’ve started and failed MANY TIMES... started businesses that failed, gotten laid off from jobs... you name it, I’ve probably tried it and fucked it up or just got unlucky ... and yet - FUCK IT - and keep moving forward and laugh at the past, learn from it, and enjoy the next adventure.

The key is not to tell others in your next job interview that you’re a failure but to focus on what you did do right and lessons you’ve learned along the way - and wear a smile when you talk about yourself.
