[Theory] "Song Celestial" by Edwin Arnold is a translation of an ancient indian text called "The Bhagavadgeeta". The text elucidate's possible ways of living life. Here are some things that i found similar to TRP philosophy.

1) We are kept from our goal not by obstacles but by a clear path to a lesser goal.

2) Abandon all attachment to the results of action to attain peace.

3) You have to right to work but never to the fruit of work.

4) The offering of wisdom is better than any material offering.

5) Karma is in the intention behind action.

6) Those who are motivated only by the fruits of action are miserable, for the are constantly anxious about the results of what they do.

7) The mind acts like an enemy for those who do not control it.

8) It is better to live your own destiny imperfrctly than to live an imitation of someone else's life with perfection.

9) He who is deluded by his ego thinks he is the doer, though he isnt

10) Action is better than inaction.

Though the text is interlaced with religious arguments, i find it to be one of the greatest books to read while entering monk mode.
