While I have read 'rooting through the garbage' post on rationalmale, there does not seem to be much info on if a guy dumps a girl but HE reinstates things later with her.

Like she was fundamentally OK but you got bored or you were having troubles outside of her. In other words, not because she was unfaithful or just wanted to ride cc or generally a bitch or anything-that you don't go back to her then is an absolute given. No arguments. No I mean if you were her alpha and you were the one who got bored, other troubles etc.

My own take is that even IF you are the one dumping /reinstigating the relationship it's a bad idea but that's my take- others may have differing views.
