Reply all episode 27. Woman goes off on chad, he's unphased and keeps doing his thing in what they call "generations of harem's"
Podcast Episode 27 of reply all, about a girl who dates this perfect guy, well off, good looks, gives her the tingles. Finds out that he's dating 5 other girls, then goes off on him, mass emails the other women, finds out this is just his life.
She gets responses from an ex of his, that has made it clear he's on at least his third generation of harem. He's even explained by the hostess as being the spider, trapping many in his web, and after a storm, nonplussed, simply builds a new web!
What to take away from this? Women talk, yes. You may be labeled a cheater, slut, etc, it doesn't matter! This ex, Phoebe, States without any embarrassment she caught him bringing girls into his apartment after lying to her three times, and she stayed with him! "Because she loved him" translation, Tingle's.
What you see here is a classic Chad, except for the one beta trait of lying. Will you spin? Yes. Will you get called on it? Yes. Should it bother you if a storm hits? No.
Keep on being the spider. Don't be afraid to build a new web and don't be discouraged.
The frustration: these women are angry at John for something clearly awalt. Women do this naturally, spinning beta bucks nonstop most of their young life. The number of girls who will openly lie to you about or hamster away their orbiting harem of attention, free meals, gifts, and subservience (often in exchange for a quick maintenance pity fuck) is massive, common, expectable. The difference is in the reaction, a female explosion can kill your plates, a male explosion is trp.
TL/DR lessons learned
-you will have to face female group explosions. They're insignificant.
-don't bother lying, "this is the one trait Chad shouldn't have, though he's doing just fine". Be ambiguous instead.
-don't be afraid to drop groups of plates, (especially if you keep them socially networked). As the spider, building a new web should come quickly and naturally.
