The 40% is current statistics with men not reporting many forms of abuse (such as emotional) and many men refusing to report physical because of the Duluth model. In terms of actual cases it's likely 70-30, all studies we have show the more women in a relationship the more abusive it is

I casually use the excuse that nobody cares about men's day to avoid having to care about women's day. I've stated that I will consider caring about women's day after women start caring about the men's day. I don't see that happening anytime soon.
