So I'm trying to work on not relying on alcohol so much for confidence in social situations, especially with girls. If I am pretty buzzed, I can talk to women pretty well with ease, and can close at a pretty good rate. But I noticed earlier in the night when girls are giving me signals to approach, I choose to wait until I have more alcohol in my system to do so. It's like I don't trust myself to be as charming or nonchalant in this situation without alcohol lowering some of my inhibitions and reserves. Does anyone else have experience with this? I guess to fix this would just be to practice when I'm not drunk and just learn how to achieve that level of confidence without booze.
