Sadly, she'll sue him for the value of those things and he'll be forced to reimburse her plus any emotional damages his actions may have caused.

I don't know if it's the same in Germany, but in some states in the US a husband can sue the woman's lover for "denial of affection" for banging his wife and ruining their marriage.

Anyone have any thing to add to that?

Another story for the files:

Guy gets hosed and divorce is pending. He knows he's about to get seriously fucked in court since she's pressing for half his income plus a bunch of other physical assets and talks to his lawyer.

She (thinking like a woman) says "what have you always wanted to do with your life?".

"Sell yachts and give massages to rich women".

She says - "do it...and go broke".

He quits his job (engineering management - six figures in aerospace) and does exactly that. In court his lawyer argues for most of the fixed assets in exchange for half his income at the time of divorce (which is effectively negative since yachts aren't selling but the ex doesn't know this since they're working with the income figures they got during disclosure) rather than a fixed sum. The soon-to-be-ex is betting his income will go up and her pussy pay will too.

Deal struck, they sign the papers and he's free. She comes after him for alimony and he shows her his 1040 for the past year (total income about equal to rent and legal fees to good-gal lawyer). Nada, bitch.

Here's the bonus round: He never went back to aerospace - kept on selling boats (this picked up a bit as the economy recovered) and massaging rich women (yes, he got masseur training etc.) and couldn't be happier.

TL;DR: Chicanery to evade bullshit divorce settlement leads to life-changing career moves.
