Me and my girlfriend live together and have been together for around 3 years now.

She's absolutely no unicorn, by any stretch of the imagination. But I feel like the pros outweigh the cons.

Sex life is great, everything's great other than one thing, her attitude.

She's very snappy and angry. (Not just to me, but to friends, family, etc) it's a common joke between her friends and family about her snapiness and anger.

Arguments are hell with my girlfriend. She is very narccistic in that she makes me feel like everything is my fault, and sometimes manages to get me wondering what even started the arguement. In the three years we've been together. She's apologised once.

We had a major argument Wednesday about something trivial, and since then we haven't really spoken. (I'm putting my foot down recently and not apologisng for something that isn't my fault)

Last night I tried to hug her and speak to her on two occasions but she had a go at me and told me to leave her alone.

So this morning I get to work and she demands an apology over text. I tell her I'm not apologising for anything until she apologises for last night when I tried to patch things up.

Anyways, to cut a long story short, we've spent hours arguing over text, she keeps telling me to apologise or she'll leave. (To which I keep responding with "leave them")

Any idea how to sort this out? As much of a nightmare as she is, I'm interested in salvaging things. I do think half of the problem is that I'm too beta, and I let her walk all over me.

My current thought process is I should go home after work and not pay her any attention, go to the gym, lift, come home, play some games with friends and not let her see that she's bothering me. If she wants to dump me, she can dump me
