Feminism's rhetoric pits men against each other. Guys like to show they're basically good people and a bunch of them are bending over backwards to give women what they "want" to prove they aren't misogynists like "all those other men".

The whole thing also tends to operate like a cult to draw you in.

It's more about empathy, fairness, and the recognition that people are worthy of respect and value regardless of their gender (among other things). I don't think social justice is in contrast to my well being at all, as long as well being takes into account things beyond immediate superficial desires, which it does, in my view.

That's the Tiffany's box they put on the pamphlet. Once you see a SJW at work, it is literally "You can have any opinion/thought/feeling you want, so long as it is ours".
