TL:DR - A short review of the many major movements that got us here.

Body:

Church and Monarchy

I'll summarize the entire period as being one ruled by Kings, but also moderated by the Church. We actually see many Red Pill truths in these most ancient writings because women were seen as driven by Lust and attracted to Chaos so man who is more capable of Love was designed by god to create Order. This is where we started.

The Enlightenment

The Enlightenment was reason. It was science. People could see it's abilities because new machines like the steam engine were changing the world dramatically. The Church was given a lessor position of authority and people began to doubt it's teachings. Logic ruled.

Romanticism

People didn't like how The Enlightenment reduced man to the level of machines. People began to feel like slaves to the factory. The Romantics fought against the cold logic of The Enlightenment and advocated "higher values" which were to become the basis of the progressive search for utopia later on.

Marxism and the Progressives

You now have the foundations for our present day. All the elements were in place by 1848. By combining all the forces that existed before you create the Identity Politics we deal with today. Fighting Class Struggles becomes the emotional destiny of the Romanticism seen previously. People seem to have purpose in their lives.

The Last 50 Years

Rollo Tomassi summed up recent history very well in Adaptations II. The first wave of Feminism created the Free Love Era. At the time women were actually willing to have sex with everyone. But by the 1990's women had realized that they just weren't attracted to Beta men. The entire idea of love as being "without gender bias" continues to this day as a fraud being put forth by the Feminists. Women actually know they Lust for Alpha, but they now play a dual strategy. Betas still get to orbit, but no sex.

Red Pill

The Red Pill actually brings back the earliest writings of the ancient church in that we again recognize women Lust after Chaos. What is different is that there is no Monarchy, no King, no Church, that has any ability to do anything about it. We are lacking in Power to enforce Order, so we are forced to accept the Chaos. Enjoy the Decline if you so choose.

Lessons Learned:

Anyone who oversimplifies the major forces that got us to where we are runs the risk of missing important elements. However, all communication is symbolic anyway, so I guess my simplifications are as good as any other.

Red Pill brings us back to zero... it's the "reboot".
