Merry Christmas fellas. I'm old and been around the block when it comes to LTR's ending and plates breaking. I'm usually mentally prepared and have no problem going no contact. LTR and I were supposed to spend Christmas together but we had a huge fight on Tuesday. She let me know that a guy she dated a year ago knew me, and I said small world. But then I started hamstering and asked why are you talking to someone you dated a year ago. She said at least she was honest about it. I shut down emotionally and went to watch tv. She threw a cup against the wall after insulting me and it came dangerously close to hitting me in the face. I called her crazy but was a little drunk so I didn't want to drive home. She apologized but got mad at me when I wouldn't accept her apology. Finally after we were talking she was trying to apologize but I wouldn't let her get near me. She said that I wasn't offended when she insulted me, and I told her she was rewriting history, textbook crazy. She slammed the door and I ended up leaving. I blocked her number when I got home and woke up to see she blocked me on FB. Haven't spoken since.

Since this was abrupt I'm having a hard time going no contact, throwing things isn't ever acceptable to me, but would I be digging my own grave if I reached out to her to talk today? thanks in advance, I need the straight dope.
