I don't do OLD (having been married since the Reagan Administration and all), but it irks me when I see "Some college" in the "Education" category, especially when the chick is working at some entry-level job and is clearly past normal college age. I always assume they dropped out... otherwise their occupation would be "student."

My resume lists the degree programs I have completed. I changed majors as an undergrad student, but I don't list both majors (it would look pretty impressive if I did, but it would also be extremely dishonest): I only list the one in which I have my degree.

If it were up to me there would be two questions instead of one. The first would ask for the highest level of education completed, and the options would look like this:

None
High school / GED
Non degree certification -- Specify:_____
Associates degree -- Major:_____
Bachelor's degree -- Major:_____
Master degree -- Major:_____
Doctorate -- Major:_____

The second question would ask about current enrollments and enrollments in the near future (none of this, "I plan to go back to school" nonsense from someone who has not taken any steps toward making it happen). The options would look like this:

I am currently enrolled in the following degree-granting program:_____
I am currently enrolled in the following certification-granting program:_____
I am actively preparing to enter the following program within the next six months:_____
I have no plans to continue my formal education in the next six months.

That would also provide some insight into their answer to the "How ambitious are you?" question. A 27-year-old college dropout with three children working as a receptionist has no reason to list anything about college on her dating profile, since it has no bearing on her ability to carry her financial weight in a long-term relationship. Nor any reason to try to portray herself as being "Ambitious.," unless there's something she's doing something to improve herself thatshe's not telling us (and how likely is that?)
