Society has a lot invested in keeping young men on the plantation for the simple reason that we as men are the vehicles of society.
Women are the vehicles of nature; thus their burden is different.
In a time period of ever increasing pressure from society to be the good little vehicles we are for it; we must resist. We are vehicles for society, not slaves.
It is why we as men become impossibly empathetic towards other men who sacrifice themselves for society. We as men know on such a intimately primal level there are few greater honors than to die for those who would die for us.
I conducted a thought experiment recently, i asked people a bizarre question.
"Have you ever fantasized about dying for your loved ones to protect them?"
The result?
Overwhelmingly the men responded yes.
Even the most timid men, responded yes.
Where as when i posed this same question to women, they said perhaps for their children. They were always specific on that fact when they did occasionally say yes, which was rare in comparison to men.
There in lies the burden of being the vehicle for society, our blood is its lubricant.
We as men, gladly die for our fellow man; not just our own kin.
If society isn't willing to treat us like what we are. Men. Then we will be its vehicle no more.
Non Serviam brothers.
