Sorry OP, this isn't a Carol we are looking for. I'm guessing she will be in the future, once she actually gets into the dating scene, but she isn't there yet.

I'm enjoying my new found freedom & generally speaking I'm comfortable being alone (most days I prefer it actually.) I'm not currently looking to date but know that at some point in the future I'll start.

She says she isn't lonely and she isn't looking to date. Her anxiety about dating isn't enough to consider her for the sub. Thank you for your contribution, but it needs to go.

Also, the "Hypergamy" flair should be for a post, article, or social media that shows this instinct in action or promotes it. Divorce raping her husband doesn't prove that, it just shows how enabled women are in the justice system.

It's amazing how they concoct these elaborate stories in their heads about what other people are doing. The couple who was sitting close but not too close could have been dating (like she assumed), but they could have also been siblings or cousins who are close and not in a sexual way. Or they could have had different ideas regarding personal boundaries or a hundred other possibilities. In my experience, single lonely woman over 35 tend to be Queens of projection. Always projecting their lonely fantasies on everyone else.

It's also amazing how in datingoverthirty, it always seems to be just taken as a fact that someone is divorced. The question as to why they're divorced, who initiated the divorce and how they conducted themselves in court etc doesn't seem to be a discussion whenever I visit which admittedly isn't too often.

Another interesting observation that I've seen play out many times - women who marry in their 20's, whose young husbands are doting on them (as they all claim to want lol) will snare at them with a lecture about how we're two individual people who compliment each other blah blah blah. We shouldn't have to entertain each other blah blah blah. We ought to each have a life of our own that's enhanced by our life together blah blah blah. Happiness is a personal choice and I can't be responsible for your happiness nor are you responsible for mine blah blah blah.

Then the husband backs off and pursues his own hobbies and interests. He doesn't spend as much time and energy on keeping her happy. He does exactly what she told him! Then in their 30's, she divorces him because she's boooooooored and unhaaaaaapy and he doesn't pay attention to her anymore and he doesn't satisfy her anymore and he doesn't this and he doesn't that and he doesn't the other and and and.....

Bitch dear sweetie pie, when he married you at 23, he was doting all over you and was ready to do anything, anything to make you happy. You pushed him away with all those long lectures about happiness being a personal choice. He took your advice and stopped showering you with attention. Now you're upset that he doesn't shower you with attention.

Bottom line is that you're impossible to pleas but unfortunately, the court system is on your side and supports your reckless behavior.

The biggest "problem" these women face is that generally, the guy she is attracted to is not attracted to her. The guy she deems worthy of her is looking at women 10 - 15 years younger than her. She is a low value woman that still believes she is at the top of her game.
