Keep in mind that women and men do not view MALE sexual value the same way. Being well rounded is more valued by men than by women. Once you have the basics down, become an outlier in one area.
Body: I love the diversity of opinion here. While there are many issues on which to take sides, the issue of "doing it for yourself" vs "doing it for women" is well debated, though I do see more people taking the first position.
It's a noble motivator. But don't we consider men and women to be very different? So, you're improving yourself per male standards, in order to appeal to women? While I am all for self improvement, it does not translate perfectly to success with women.
Men confront life, while women are carried along. That is why men understand the importance of being well rounded. If you are deficient mentally, physically, socially, economically, you will be out of the SMP. Men need to compete on all fronts, and therefore see the need to be well rounded. however, problems crop up when you approach SMV improvement in this way
Women view men emotionally. And what makes more of a positive emotional impact: an in shape, well off, well dressed, well socialized guy with game, OR the fat, short, drug addict who happens to be a very popular local musician? OR the broke male model? I would argue our Renaissance man doesn't stand a chance. He is good on paper but doesn't evoke FEELZ. only outliers create strongly positive emotional impressions
I also ask you to think about guys you know that get serious tail: are they well rounded men? Not saying that being well rounded is disadvantageous by any means. But you don't need to be.
And since we are all human, with limited time and limited energy, it would be extremely difficult to become top 5% in all areas. Better off being average in everything but an outlier in one. If you're top 5% in one area? Lucky you.
Don't stop improving yourself for you. But have the right expectations.
TL;DR: Men value well roundedness more than women do. Women, being emotional, only see outliers in specific areas. Being top 20% in all areas is not the key. As long as you are average physically, socially, economically, only your highest score counts. this is not life advice, only advice for sexual success
