The only example I can remember for context into what I normally say is a girl I met about 2 months ago. I met her at a party, she was clearly into me, asking me questions all night without me showing any interest back and asked me if I was single, I thought this was odd as she is of above average SMV, probably about a 7-8 and could easily attract most men. I just said something like 'it's complicated' to leave it open.

I see her every weekend and she follows me around in close proximity. I figured I wouldn't have to put much effort in, so I said let's go out sometime and see where it goes. At this point she said that hasn't been with anyone for nearly a year after her ex-boyfriend broke up with her, and isn't ready for anything long term yet. I said while laughing 'That's fine I bet I'm more handsome than he was anyway, was he shit in the bedroom as well?'. She looked at me with a sort of disgust at this point and said 'why do you have to make it so confrontational?' then left.

I talked to a friend of mine who knows her about her situation better and he confirmed that what she was saying is true. I looked though her social media and she has orbiters who comment on everything, but hasn't posted anything new in like 8 months.

I pulled back, no contact since, it's been about 2 weeks and she messaged me again yesterday saying she does want to see me and that she was really sorry.
