The only thing that there is to embrace is an absolutely ruthless self-interest. Don't just become selfish—actively work to grow, develop, and refine your selfishness. Pay no mind to anyone or anything that doesn't directly affect you some way. Stop concerning yourself with the needs of others. Learn to cultivate and enjoy a lifestyle of selective apathy.

Remember, YOU are the best friend that YOU will ever have, and ultimately, only YOU matter. Stop investing in a "society" that refuses to invest in YOU.

Don't bother, just mind your own business. Develop your skills needed to succeed in life. Invest your hard earned money, and retire early away from everybody's bullshit.

First and foremost, cutting off news channels and social media will give you much needed peace of mind.

Focus on your hobbies instead. Trying to "embrace" any part of this culture, while expecting sane and worthwhile daily results, would be like using a live grenade to hammer down rusty nails that stick up. Best you could hope for would be needing to get a tetanus shot, after you cut yourself on the nail.
