I’m in a LTR with this woman and I’m from the UK. I’m from the south and she is from the north.

My family wants me to buy a house near them because my kids will know my side more and also without saying the actual word, my dad said I would have better frame. Eg if my LTR has an argument with me she can’t just pack her things and go to her parents for the night..

My LTR wants to stay up north near her family. I was considering it but after talking to my family, I’m not so keen.

Are they any benefits for me to stay down south and live near my family?
