Pam was really stupid going forward with her marriage with Roy, who was financially unstable. And if she had decided she should've gone through with it till the end. But I enjoy the Office only because of the Red pills that Dwight constantly throws around.

I don't remember her reasoning, but Pam literally convinces Jim to give up his dream job that would lead to a fortune, yet she's shown as a good person? If you really love someone, they're passionate about something you should support them. Throughout the seasons, it was constantly shown that Jim was the most competent member of the Office and had massive sales that were the difference between the branch closing down and everybody being jobless versus being the best selling office in the company.

I've always had some low level disgust with the show because it always rubbed me the wrong way. The only reason I ever saw any of it was because I had a roommate that was obsessed with it. I swear that guy would watch 4 episodes a day that he had already seen.

I've even sort of come up with words for the theme in my head.

After taking the red pill it can be hard to enjoy a lot of movies, tv shows, and even books that you used to like. A lot of stories revolve around the myth of romance and happily ever after.

It was a fine, easy to watch show, but Pam was the worst part hands down. The writers felt like the fans were turning, so they did whatever they could to make her a main character. Around that time however, the show jumped the shark.
