This resonates a little in my current state. Dumped a girl because I thought I could do better (lower n count, cuter, better lifestyle aka not so much drinking). Anyways trying to come to terms with my choices as she didn't take me back when I tried to get her to a few weeks after I dumped her. While this prob isn't the case, I could look at it as a commitment test she failed.

She treated me like her alpha but felt playing the field and looking for another was in her best interest, not me, who proved to be able to give her the tingles (though yeah did dump her outright).

Anyway, mentioned it to my family once and they just shrugged and said "I guess he didn't really like you then if she couldn't forgive you for what you did" and I thought it was bullshit and an annoying BP answer. Reframed with your post though it makes a little sense.

If women are hunting for the alpha to commit to them, and if the latest wouldn't get back with me, then perhaps I can frame it as a commitment test she failed. If she had proper bonding mechanisms (lower n count, a father who stayed, etc redflags there) then perhaps she would have actually tried to get back with me instead of fucking like 10 dudes (i'm guessing, would not be surprised).

Idk sitting here alone on a friday over analyzing shit. Contemplating going out alone, this idea at least helps me try to reframe my situation and blame her. By placing blame on her it helps me not feel like a fucktard for not at least monkey branching from here.

On another hand though, she did do just about everything to try to get me to commit. Despite an N count there were positives in her actions with me. So yeah, actions speak louder than words.
